Pam Bondi confirmed as US Attorney General

President Donald Trump's pick for US Attorney General Pam Bondi was confirmed by the Senate on Tuesday evening with a vote of 54 to 46. Trump's nominees have all passed their Senate confirmation process. Tulsi Gabbard was advanced out of committee on Tuesday while Kash Patel for FBI and Robert F. Kennedy Jr. are still awaiting their votes.

Cloture was invoked late on Monday evening in a vote of 52-46, which put a time limit on debate, allowing for a simple majority vote in the Senate to confirm Bondi on Tuesday evening. Bondi advanced out of the Judiciary Committee last week after being grilled by senators during confirmation hearings. Senator John Fetterman of Pennsylvania was the only Democrat to cast his vote for Bondi.
