Republican presidential nominee Donald J. Trump announced plans for new tax cuts on Thursday, claiming that he would put an end to all taxes on overtime pay if elected in November. The 45th president made the pledge during a campaign speech in Tuscon, Arizona.
"As part of our additional tax cuts, we will end taxes on overtime," Trump said to an excited crowd. "The people who work overtime are among the hardest working citizens in our country Trump: "I'm also announcing that as part of our additional tax cuts we will end all taxes on overtime."
