President-elect Donald Trump will hold a rally in Washington, D.C., the day before his inauguration on January 20. The "Make America Great Again Victory Rally" will take place on January 19 at CapitolOne Arena. Sources familiar with the matter told CBS News that the event will kick off at 3 pm.
The president-elect is slated to speak at the rally along with a number of other speakers who have not yet been announced. The venue, which is home to the Washington Capitals NHL hockey team and the Washington Wizards NBA basketball team, can hold approximately 20,000 people. Trump will be sworn in the following day at the US Capitol, and there will be several events throughout the day to mark the celebration.
