Erika Kirk spoke at Turning Point USA’s event at the University of Mississippi on Wednesday night, where Vice President JD Vance was also set to address the crowd. The event marked an emotional moment for the organization, coming just six weeks after TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk was assassinated during a campus event in Utah.
The Ole Miss stop was part of the group’s ongoing “This Is the Turning Point” tour, which has continued to promote conservative values, free speech, and Charlie Kirk’s legacy. The event drew a large turnout, with many students waiting for hours in the rain to attend.
During her remarks, Erika Kirk thanked Turning Point members for their support in the wake of her husband’s death, saying their presence had helped her feel connected to him.
