Trump discusses presidential advisory role with Elon Musk in next administration: report

Donald Trump and Elon Musk met to discuss Musk's potential role as a presidential advisor in the next White House should Trump win the 2024 election. Per a report from the Wall Street Journal, the two men talked about Musk giving "formal input" on matter such as border security and the economy. Musk is a businessman, as was Trump, and has run successful companies such as Space X and Tesla.

Musk and Trump were joined by billionaire investor Nathan Peltz on plans to "invest in a data-driven project to prevent voter fraud," WSJ reports.

The business leaders also discussed with Trump their intentions to "host gatherings of powerful business leaders across the country to try to convince them not to support President Biden’s re-election campaign." A Silicon Valley fundraiser has already been planned for June.
