President Trump's 2016 Democratic presidential rival Hillary Clinton says she would nominate him for a Nobel Peace Prize if he ends the Russia-Ukraine war without Ukraine having to concede any territory to Russia.
The former secretary of state made the comment on the Raging Moderates podcast in an episode that aired Friday, when Trump is set to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska to discuss how the war could end, according to the New York Post.
"I understand from everything I've read that [Trump] would very much like to receive a Nobel Peace Prize, and honestly, if he could bring about the end to this terrible war where Putin is the aggressor, invading a neighboring country, trying to change the borders," Clinton said.
