FBI says 'no definitive link' between New Orleans terrorist, Las Vegas Cybertruck bomber

The FBI has said that there is "no definitive link" between the two attacks in New Orleans where Shamsud-Din Jabbar killed 15 and injured dozens driving a truck into a crowd and the explosion where Matthew Livelsberger set off an explosion while in a Cybertruck next to a Trump hotel in Las Vegas.  An FBI spokesman said there is "no definite link" between the attacks in a press conference on in New Orleans on Thursday.

Links were sought between the two men after it was revealed that both Livelsberger and Jabbar rented their trucks via the Turo car sharing app and that they had both served in the US Armed Forces. It was also revealed that they had served on the same base, though it's not clear if there was any overlap in that service. Both acts are being investigation as terrorist attacks.
