Back to the USSR? Biden’s Pardons Smack of Soviet-Style Tactics

Washington, D.C.– Concerns continue to mount after it was revealed that some pardons issued by then President Joe Biden were, in fact, administered using an autopen—a machine that signs documents on a signer's behalf.

According to Fox News

President Donald J. Trump’s recent criticism of Biden’s use of an autopen intensified after the Oversight Project, initiated by The Heritage Foundation, released a report on March 6 claiming that a majority of documents signed during Biden’s presidency were not signed by the president himself, but by an autopen.

"This apparent use raises concerns about: whether President Biden personally authorized each official act; whether or which unelected staff controlled the autopen device; and whether they acted with his approval."

Constitutional Rights PAC Founder and President Larry Ward joined Real America’s Voice host Steve Gruber to discuss the recent scandal and it was nothing short of bombastic.

Larry Ward, chairman of the Constitutional Rights PAC, didn't hold back in drawing historical parallels:

“Where did they get this idea to have basically a brain-dead president sign all of these executive orders? Well, they got this idea from communist Russia, from the USSR, because there was a guy named Lev Kamenev who was an aide of then founder of the USSR Vladimir Lenin. And Vladimir Lenin suffered a whole bunch of strokes towards the end of his life and was, a lot of people believed, was completely a vegetable, and Lev just took his hand and moved it around on the paper.”

It’s not just about bad optics—it’s a systemic abuse of power. What we’re witnessing isn’t new. It’s a page ripped from the authoritarian playbook, where a figurehead president fronts for an unelected bureaucratic machine.

Gruber then asked Ward if he thought some of the Biden Administration’s pardons would be legally challenged. Tthey should be challenged, Ward said for no other reason than to get to the bottom of what actually happened during Biden’s time in office. “Do I think they’ll win? Probably not.”
