CNN anchor Kaitlan Collins conducted an interview with Senator Ted Cruz in which she attempted to claim that the motive behind the suspected killer of conservative activist Charlie Kirk is still unknown.
Collins hosted Cruz on her show “The Source,” where she told the senator, “We don’t have a motive yet. We don’t know yet, we’re waiting.”
Cruz pushed back, saying, “Of course we know. Come on.
“We don’t have a motive yet? We don’t have a motive yet? Really? He just happened to fire the gun in celebration?” Cruz added, a reference to a guest on MSNBC who, during initial reports of the shooting, speculated the gun might have been fired by a supporter “in celebration.”
