#StoptheCoup: Demand Swing State Legislatures Send Electors For Trump

Washington, DC – The nation’s leading grassroots political activist organization, Constitutional Rights PAC (CRPAC), today began an extensive nationwide petition drive demanding that state legislators nationwide instruct their presidential electors to vote for Donald. J. Trump for President or refuse to cast any electoral vote. 

“The Democrats in the key swing states have clearly committed such obvious and extensive fraud,” said CRPAC Chairman Larry Ward, “that the state legislators have no viable alternative but to instruct their Electors to vote for Trump or refuse to vote at all.” 
                                                                  
The campaign will send signed petitions to every Republican member of each state legislature demanding that they “immediately meet in urgent assembly and take any and all measures now deemed necessary” to assure that the state’s Electors support President Trump in order to “restore the now tarnished integrity of America’s once sacrosanct Presidential election process.”

According to Article II of the Constitution, legislatures in each of the 50 states have unmitigated authority to appoint Electors “in such a manner as the Legislature thereof may direct.” In in the Federalist No. 10, James Madison argued that such a mandate would protect against "an interested and overbearing majority" and the "mischiefs of faction" in a popular election system.

In a landmark 2016 ruling, the Supreme Court declared in a unanimous decision that the constitutional mandate empowered the legislatures to instruct Electors as to how they should vote – regardless of the popular election results. Writing for the majority, Justice Elena Kagan said that the states may punish or remove such “faithless electors” if they are not following the specific instructions of the legislature.

Whereas it is now manifestly clear that the Presidential election of 2020 is the most corrupt, and therefore, illegitimate Presidential election in the history of the United States,

Whereas there is conclusive, continuing, and irrefutable evidence of extensive voter fraud prevalent throughout the United States – and particularly in the “swing states,” of Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Michigan, Minnesota, and Nevada.

Whereas that extensive and preponderant voter fraud, if left unresolved, will result in the thorough adulteration of the electoral process and the assumption of office by a Presidential candidate corruptly selected through an illegal, devious, and dishonest process,

And, whereas Article II, Section 1, Clause 2, of the United States Constitution gives you the sole, discretionary, unfettered, and absolute power to appoint Presidential election Electors legally obligated to cast their votes as you instruct,

[Article II, Section 1, Clause 2: Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.]

NOW THEREFORE we the undersigned demand that you immediately meet in urgent assembly and take any and all measures now deemed necessary to:
 

1. select a slate of Electors manifestly and irrevocably pledged to take one of two actions: 
   1. cast their votes for the legitimately elected President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, thereby rightly returning him to office, or in the alternative
   2. refuse to cast any electoral vote whatsoever, thereby effectively negating the corrupt Presidential election of 2020.
2. and also instruct the Electors you select in your immediate and urgent assemblage that they are to maintain one or the other of the above legally binding dispositions until the final outcome of the 2020 Presidential election is determined by either the U.S. Congress, or the Supreme Court.
