In yet another display of misplaced outrage, a group of agitators swarmed a California restaurant Sunday evening after falsely identifying federal officers as immigration enforcement agents.
The incident took place at a Korean barbecue restaurant in Plaza Mexico, Lynwood — a shopping and dining center near Los Angeles. Three off-duty TSA air marshals were enjoying a meal when protestors, apparently fueled by anti-ICE sentiment, confronted them under the mistaken belief that they were immigration officers conducting an enforcement operation.
The confrontation quickly escalated as more people joined in, surrounding the restaurant and harassing the officers. Horns blared, whistles blew, and chants echoed — all directed at federal law enforcement officers who had done nothing but sit down for dinner. The mob’s aggressive behavior forced the officers to leave the premises under escort from sheriff’s deputies.
Law enforcement later confirmed what should’ve been obvious: these men were not ICE agents. They were Transportation Security Administration officers — federal air marshals, trained to protect Americans in transit, not conduct immigration raids.
No arrests were reported, and fortunately, no injuries. But the incident raises serious concerns about the growing hostility toward anyone in uniform. This wasn’t a protest — it was harassment, plain and simple. And it speaks volumes about the breakdown of public discourse, where mobs now act on rumors and law-abiding officers are treated like criminals.
This kind of anti-authority chaos doesn’t just threaten individuals — it weakens the social fabric. When public servants can’t eat in peace because of false accusations and mob pressure, something is deeply wrong.
As the left continues to vilify ICE, blur the lines between lawful enforcement and political activism, and encourage outrage over order, more scenes like this are bound to unfold. Americans should be alarmed — and they should demand a return to respect, reason, and the rule of law.
