Minnesota Anti‑ICE Agitator Arrested After Disrupting Church Service, Daring AG Bondi to Act

A self‑styled anti‑ICE agitator who boldly challenged U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi to arrest him has now gotten his wish.

Federal authorities took William Kelly into custody in connection with a disruptive incident at Cities Church in Saint Paul, Minnesota, where protestors interrupted a Sunday worship service to confront congregants and clergy about alleged Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) ties. Kelly had posted a profanity‑laced video on social media daring Bondi to hold him accountable, saying, “Come and get me, Pam Bondi — you traitorous b***.”*

Attorney General Bondi confirmed the arrest Thursday, underscoring that attacks on places of worship will not be tolerated. Department of Homeland Security officials announced that Kelly faces federal charges, including conspiracy to deprive rights, a serious offense that alleges intimidation of individuals exercising their constitutional freedoms.

The confrontation at the church drew national attention and was part of broader anti‑immigration‑enforcement demonstrations in the region following recent clashes involving ICE. Kelly, who goes by the handle “DaWokeFarmer” online, has been outspoken against federal immigration actions and frequently shares incendiary videos criticizing officials and law enforcement.

In video from the service, Kelly can be seen berating churchgoers and accusing them of hypocrisy, asserting that religious worshippers live comfortably while immigrants suffer under federal enforcement actions. His confrontational behavior at the service’s outset sparked outrage and highlighted the growing tension between passionate protest movements and the protection of religious life and civil order.

Bondi’s announcement signals a firm federal response to activists whose tactics cross legal lines and disrupt religious gatherings. Federal law enforcement has emphasized its commitment to safeguarding constitutional rights, including freedom of worship, while holding accountable those who intimidate or interfere with those rights.
