The Race: A New York Times/Siena poll has him tied with Democrat James Talarico at 47%. Lose Texas, and the Senate hangs by a thread.
ASHLEY HINSON — U.S. Senate, Iowa | TOSS UP
TV anchor turned giant-killer who flipped a Democrat-held House seat in 2020.
The Record: Endorsed by President Trump. Honored by the Iowa Farm Bureau as a Friend of Agriculture. Voted to make the Trump tax cuts permanent.
The Race: It's an open seat, and the polls are split: Emerson has her up five, while Marist has Josh Turek up eight. Iowa hasn't elected a Democratic senator since 2008. Let's keep it that way.

Retired Army brigadier general. Iraq War veteran. Former chairman of the House Freedom Caucus.
The Record: The purest movement conservative in any swing seat in America. Doesn't bend, doesn't bow, doesn't back down. President Trump is backing his reelection.
The Race: A rematch with Janelle Stelson, whom he beat by 5,133 votes in 2024. She leads 47-44 in September's Franklin & Marshall poll. Five thousand votes. That's the ballgame.
ZACH NUNN — IA-03 | TOSS UP
Air Force officer. Combat veteran. Flipped this seat red in 2022.
The Record: Signed the Taxpayer Protection Pledge and the U.S. Term Limits pledge. No new taxes. No career lifers.
The Race: Cook moved this race to Toss Up. Democrats have made Nunn a top target, running State Senator Sarah Trone Garriott against him.
MARIANNETTE MILLER-MEEKS — IA-01 | TOSS UP
Ophthalmologist. 24-year Army veteran. A doctor who answers to patients, not bureaucrats.
The Record: Voted for the Laken Riley Act. Voted to make the Trump tax cuts permanent.
The Race: She won this seat by six votes in 2020. Now it's a third straight rematch with Christina Bohannan, who came within 799 votes in 2024. A handful of Iowans decide everything.
GABE EVANS — CO-08 | TOSS UP
Army Black Hawk pilot. Police officer. Grandson of a Mexican immigrant.
The Record: Endorsed by President Trump. Evans has put fighting crime at the center of his work in Congress.
The Race: He flipped this seat in 2024, 49.0% to 48.2%. A new poll has him essentially tied with Manny Rutinel, just weeks before ballots go out.
TOM BARRETT — MI-07 | TOSS UP
21-year Army veteran and helicopter pilot. He lost this race in 2022, then came back and won it in 2024. A fighter who keeps coming.
The Record: As a state senator, he was one of Gretchen Whitmer's most vocal critics.
The Race: Democrats nominated Will Lawrence, whom Speaker Mike Johnson has blasted over his connection to the Democratic Socialists of America. Cook rates it a Toss Up.
RYAN MACKENZIE — PA-07 | TOSS UP
Ninth-generation Lehigh Valley native. Twelve years in the Pennsylvania House. Flipped this seat in 2024 by defeating Susan Wild.
The Record: He helped pull Pennsylvania's unemployment system out of insolvency, the kind of fix Washington never makes.
The Race: Democrat Bob Brooks leads 45-40 in the Franklin & Marshall poll, with 16% still undecided. This one is up for grabs.
MONICA DE LA CRUZ — TX-15 | TOSS UP
South Texas businesswoman. Border-district conservative.
The Record: Re-elected by 14 points in a district Trump carried by 18.
The Race: Cook just moved her race to Toss Up. Democrats recruited Tejano singer Bobby Pulido, who leads 50-45 in a Texas Southern University poll. A Trump +18 seat shouldn't be in play. It is. Let's fix that.
DERRICK VAN ORDEN — WI-03 | TOSS UP
Retired Navy SEAL. Flipped this seat red in 2022 and held it in 2024 with 51.4%.
The Record: In 2025, he filed articles of impeachment against a federal judge. Squishes don't pick that fight.
The Race: A rematch with Rebecca Cooke, and Cook rates it a Toss Up. National Democrats put her on their "Red to Blue" list. They want this seat back. We can't let them have it.
