Former President Donald J. Trump will get the final word when he goes head-to-head against President Joe Biden on CNN next week for the highly anticipated presidential debate. The decision came as a result of a coin toss to determine the order of closing statements and podium placement, CNN said.
The Biden campaign won the coin toss and decided to select the right podium position, meaning President Biden is set to appear on the right side of television screens, and his top rival, Donald Trump, will be on the left.
The Trump campaign then chose Trump to deliver closing statements last, ensuring he would have the final word of the debate. Biden will give his final arguments first.
