Former advisor turned critic of President Donald Trump, John Bolton, lashed out at the president in an opinion piece after the FBI raided Bolton's home last week. The raid is part of an investigation that was ordered by FBI Director Kash Patel.
The opinion piece appeared in the Washington Examiner, where Bolton said that Trump's Ukraine policy is "incoherent," and that the policy is "no more coherent today than it was last Friday when his administration executed search warrants against my home and office."
Bolton wrote, "The administration has tried to camouflage its disarray behind social media posts, such as Trump comparing his finger-pointing at Russian President Vladimir Putin to then-Vice President Richard Nixon during the famous kitchen debate with Nikita Khrushchev," and added that past few weeks where Trump has held meetings with both Russian President as well as EU leaders and Volodymyr Zelensky, have had "several significant mistakes."
