Today is a historic day for every good, decent, patriotic, and God-fearing MAGA American.
Today, Donald J. Trump will be confirmed by the Electoral College as the 47th President of the United States.
Confirmed, not “officially elected,” as some in the radical leftwing mainstream media are proclaiming. The January 6 acclamation is nothing more than a routine, ceremonial procedure. The American people have already elected Donald Trump. The pro forma Electoral College is merely confirming the people’s will.
Unfortunately, however, once President Trump is confirmed, and thereupon takes the oath of office on January 20, the whole confirmation process will end.
And the ruthless, often reckless, trenchant and traitorous opposition process will begin.
Which means that if Donald Trump is to carry out his campaign promises, if he is to restore constitutional government, and if he is, indeed, to “Make America Great Again,” the 77,000,000 good, decent, patriotic, and God-fearing MAGA Americans who elected him to office are going to need to rise up in resistance as with a voice and demand the enactment of his agenda.
For, without that, his second term, as with his first, will be largely an exercise in frustration, sabotage, obstruction, and betrayal.
And not just by the Democrats, as one might expect.
But from renegade, RINO Republicans – in Congress, the courts, and sadly, within his own administration.
Here’s the inside scoop.
As to the Democrats, please, I urge you to quickly remove any and all hopeful suppositions that they may have learned a little something from their recent election debacle.
They did not.
The Democrat Party is not repentant after being thoroughly trounced and denounced by the American people.
No, they are not repentant -- they are repulsed; repulsed by the hardworking, patriotic, God-fearing Americans who chose a return to Mayberry, as it were, over the continued slide of the Republic into the Marxist abyss.
Hence, the Democrats are not interested in rapport. They are intent upon revenge.
And in both the Senate and the House, they will work around the clock to ravage Trump’s agenda. And to savage the man himself.
Chuck Schumer in the Senate will operate as always through subterfuge and even feigned docility. He will don a phony smile and attempt at times to appear avuncular. But behind the scenes, he will oppose every item in the Trump agenda and corral the Senate Democrats to first delay and then deny the MAGA mission.
Hakeem Jeffries in the House will continue to exhibit the same vicious and vile behavior that launched his cut-throat political career and earmarked his management of the first bogus Trump impeachment. Perhaps, all one needs to know about Mr. Jeffries is that his self-proclaimed favorite rap singer is the late Notorious, who guides and directs Mr. Jeffries thinking with such elevating lyrics as:

Shivering, tongue delivering/
Chills up that spine, that a** is mine/
Skip the wine and the candlelight, no Cristal tonight/

Refreshing, isn’t it?
Now, lest one think that the Trump agenda will be rescued by his Republican majorities in the Senate and the House… Well, think again.
As to the Republican majority in the House of Representatives, their capacity for shafting Trump and shilling for Hakeem Jeffries can all be summed up in just two words: Mike Johnson.
Johnson has become a past master at smiling benignly, adopting a vacuous Alfred E. Neuman grin, and talking out of both sides of his mouth.
The Christian/MAGA side decries the Biden war in Ukraine, eschews government corruption, and demands fiscal responsibility. The Washington glove puppet side funds the Biden war, pushes through the corrupt FISA act, and sells out in a heartbeat to multi-billion-dollar deficit spending Continuing Resolutions.
And speaking of selling out, that brings us to the Republican majority in the US Senate. It is at once, paradoxically, substantial. And insubstantial. It is both impressive. And depressing.
Numerically, it boasts a decided, and potentially decisive, 53 to 46 majority. Clearly enough to enact the full Trump agenda” and return the nation not only to Mayberry, but to sanity.
But, veritably, in point of fact, for the 77,000,000 Americans who voted to Make America Great Again, the Senate Republican is about as reliable as a rubber walker in the old folks home (I can say that, I am 78 years old).
How so? Who so? Wherefore?
Well, for every item in the Trump MAGA agenda that would reign in the federal government and take the power out of Washington and give it back to the American people, Mr. Schumer knows he can count on seven Republican senators who will betray Trump’s trust at every turn.
Let’s call them the “Sinister Seven.” From whom you can expect to hear much in the coming session of Congress. They hate Trump. They love Washington. And they will do anything and everything in their very ample power to scuttle the MAGA mission and aggrandize the kingdom, the power, and the glory unto themselves.
Let’s close with their names. Write them down and affix them to your refrigerator. Because if you love America, you will come to despise them. And need to oppose their every grasping, greedy move.

So there you have the oppugnancy, obstruction, and subterfuge Donald Trump and all good, decent, patriotic MAGA Americans face as Mr. Trump sits in the Oval Office and looks down to the other end of Pennsylvania Avenue. And we have not yet even gotten to the courts and the self-seekers and political climbers within his own administration.
And so today, as we witness President Donald J. Trump’s confirmation by the Electoral College, sit not back in satisfaction. Instead, rise up in growing resistance.
For what is actually being confirmed is that a brutal, bare-fisted, perhaps, at times even bloody battle lies ahead.
And one way of the other, it is a fight to the absolute finish that good, decent, patriotic, and God-fearing MAGA Americans cannot afford to lose.
