"If this country wasn’t racist, Stacey Abrams would be governor," Moulton said in Atlanta. "People of color are being systemically denied the most basic right in a democracy, which is the right to vote."

Abrams has largely been in denial about her loss to Republican Brian Kemp, who beat her by over 54,000 votes back in November.

Abrams has refused to concede the election because she claims without evidence that the election was stolen from her through voter suppression, despite the fact that Georgia had record voter turnout for the election.

Abrams, who has repeatedly falsely claimed that she won the election, said in 2016 that it was "disturbing" and "distressing" that then-candidate Donald Trump potentially might not accept the results of the presidential election.
