President Donald Trump to Make 2024 Decision in the “Not-too-Distant Future”

President Donald Trump revealed when he’d make his decision on a 2024 presidential campaign in an interview with Fox News’ Greg Gutfeld published Thursday, stating that such a decision would be made in the “not-too-distant future.”

“So, I love our country… I think you’ll be very happy… I’ll make a decision in the not-too-distant future. But I love our country and I think a lot of people will be very happy.”

Opinion polling for a tentative 2024 Republican primary reveals Trump is likely to cruise to an easy victory in the contest, securing an easy majority of support. Recent polling also indicates that Trump would win the popular vote in an election rematch with Joe Biden, with a significant portion of Biden supporters experiencing ‘buyer’s remorse’ for the 78-year old Democrat.

President Trump previously suggested he had already made up his mind about a potential 2024 campaign when speaking to Sean Hannity. If elected to a second term, Trump would become the second president in US history to serve non-consecutive terms, following Grover Cleveland, who served two terms in the late 19th century.
