Mitch McConnell's Senate Leadership Fund Pulls $10 Million Out of Arizona to Sabotage Blake Masters

The Senate Leadership Fund (SLF), under the influence of Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-KY), is pulling $9.6 million in funds from candidate Blake Masters in Arizona.

It is hoped that other super PACs and organizations will pick up the slack after McConnell’s betrayal of the populist, America First senate contender. Some are already stepping up, such as the Heritage Action for America super PAC, which will be spending $3.5 million on television ads and an additional $1.5 million on outreach to voters. A super PAC founded by right-wing tech mogul Peter Thiel is spending $1.68 million to help Masters as well.

“We’re glad to see Republican outside forces showing up in a big way in Arizona, with millions in new spending pledged to take down Mark Kelly in the final stretch,” SLF President Steven Law said to Axios.
