Inspector General to investigate Biden administration’s response to baby formula shortage

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) will assign an Inspector General to investigate the Biden administration's response to America's baby formula shortage.

The nationwide shortage is not expected to subside for another month or longer.

According to Blaze, "previously, Brian Deese, the director of the National Economic Council, told CNN that the Biden administration was working around the clock to 'tackle the issue from every angle possible' and that the Biden administration was aware of the impending shortage since this past February."

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) found bacteria and unsanitary conditions at the Abbott Nutrition plant in Michigan, but waited months to act.
