Trump: ICE Will Begin Process of Removing Millions of Illegal Aliens in U.S. Next Week

President Trump made a rather stunning announcement on Twitter Monday night regarding the fate of the millions of migrants who are currently residing in the United States illegally.

“Next week ICE will begin the process of removing the millions of illegal aliens who have illicitly found their way into the United States. They will be removed as fast as they come in. Mexico, using their strong immigration laws, is doing a very good job of stopping people…” the president tweeted.

“…long before they get to our Southern Border. Guatemala is getting ready to sign a Safe-Third Agreement. The only ones who won’t do anything are the Democrats in Congress. They must vote to get rid of the loopholes, and fix asylum! If so, Border Crisis will end quickly!” he added.

As the president didn’t offer any specifics, it was not clear whether he was referring to the existing deportation policies or whether ICE was going to implement something new.

Earlier Monday the State Department announced that it would be cutting foreign aid to El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras for failing to curb illegal migrants coming to the United States.
